Abstrakt:

Development of atherosclerotic changes in arteries is a multistage process.Endothelial dysfunction is an early stage of atherosclerosis. The aim of this study was to analyze relation of atherosclerosis risk factors, measured individually and by widely used risk scales with chosen methods of vascular function assessment.Relationships between markers investigated during measurements of arteries are also discussed. The study was conducted in 170 patients who had neither a history of CVD.Analysis of cardiovascular risk was performed using FRAMINGHAM2008,SCORE, PROCAM,QRISK2,ASCVD calculators.Assessment of endothelial function was performed using method of Flow Mediated Dilation of brachial artery and tonometry of peripheral arteries RHPAT.Arterial stiffness was analyzed using Pulse Wave Analysis,Pulse Wave Velocity. It was measured intima-media complex of the carotid artery. It was observed bFMD correlates with the largest number of singular risk factors for atherosclerosis and strongly correlates with the number of risk factors present in patients. The relationship between risk factors and other investigations of vascular functional was less clear. In all analyzed risk scales there was a correlation with bFMD,IMT,PWV.LnRHI correlated only with FRAMINGHAM2008 scale.A relationship between bFMD and IMT,LnRHI,APP, PWV was observed.IMT correlated with PWV,there was no correlation with LnRHI.
